Hey! What is "Mobile Storage" ??

The latest option in storing and/or moving your possessions is portable or “mobile storage”. The big difference between traditional, "brick and mortar" self storage and mobile storage is that you no longer need to rent a truck to transfer your items back and forth from your home or business to a self storage facility. Specially built and designed mobile storage containers come in a few different sizes and are delivered to your home or business at a pre-determined time and date of your choice. (UNITS containers are available in 12’ and 16’ sizes.) Companies like UNITS Mobile Storage of Houston eliminate the need to: 1) rent a truck; 2) pack the truck; 3) drive the truck to the self storage unit; 4) unpack the truck; and 5) return the truck to the rental company! WHEW!! I got tired just typing all that!  But guess what......you'll have to do that all over again when you need to remove your items from the storage facility.

With mobile storage, you simply pack your items in a mobile storage container and, when ready, unpack your items from the mobile storage container . Sounds less stressful and a lot easier, doesn’t it?

You fill the mobile storage container at your own pace and at the time of day you wish! No need to hurry because you need to get that rental truck back by 6pm! Your own padlock and key secure your items in the mobile storage container.  No one but you has access to your possessions!  After your mobile container is loaded, you have a choice to store the container on your property or in a safe and secure storage facility (like ours). At your convenience, your mobile storage container can be moved and delivered anywhere you need - across a neighborhood, across Houston , or in most cases….. across the country!   Why?  Because that's where you store or moved your STUFF!

UNITS Mobile Storage of Houston is Finally Here!!

Hello People with Stuff!,

To quote The Beatles, it's been a long and winding road.........but UNITS Mobile Storage of Houston is finally open!  After a long, summer of getting permits from the City for completion of our new warehouse, we offically opened on October 1.  Our brand new UNITS containers are stacked high, the truck is gassed up, and we were quite busy our first week!  Thanks to some of Houston's People with Stuff for the great welcome!  We have rental customers from Conroe to Webster to Katy!

Now.....this blog really was created to help YOU, the person with all the STUFF!  I will do my best to provide you with useful information about storing and moving, safely packing and lift heavy items, insuring your items while in storage, and other moving/storage related info and news.  I will also let you know about our company and specials that UNITS of Houston may be offering!  But even if you don't need a mobile storage container, I will still be glad to answer general quetions.  My brother Steve and I are here to help make your moving and storage needs go as smooth and easy as possible and PROMISE to go out of our way to assist you when you need to....well, you know..... store or move your STUFF!
